Rappel for Roll Call (June 14, 2008)
Looking for some adventure? As a part of our centennial celebration, the first 100 alumni (1986 – 2007 graduates) to secure $1,000 in new gifts to the 61st Roll Call get to participate in an experience of a lifetime, rappelling down one of Atlanta’s tallest skyscrapers. It’s a way to give back to Tech while having some fun along the way down – literally. It’s simple; interested participants register and immediately start soliciting fellow alumni to raise new gifts toward their $1,000 goal OR donate the $1,000 themselves. The first 100 to reach $1,000 will be given the opportunity to rappel down a skyscraper in downtown Atlanta on June 14, 2008. Afraid of heights? Buzz AROUND TOWN (Fall ’08)
Buzz AROUND TOWN is designed to extend the centennial celebration of the Alumni Association into the community with art that is accessible to everyone. Alumni, students and artists are invited to bring our beloved mascot Buzz to life with images that reflect their vision of the personalities, impact and traditions embodied by alumni within Tech community. Or they may just have fun creating a Buzz with a new attitude! Each Buzz will be proudly displayed in the Fall semester around campus and the community for all to enjoy.
